Fleet Conversions
Naval officers have reported that many of the intact and salvagable vessels are nearing the completion of repair or modification. All of the recovered and salvaged ships of the former Nyrond Imperium have been renamed, refitted and recommissioned. Ships that were damaged, of which there were many, are at long last repaired and seaworthy again.
The next effort for the navy shall be to recruit sailors to man the Royal fleets. Crews shall be consolidated when necessary. But, to deploy as many ships as possible, some crews shall diminished to the bare minimum. Privateers shall constitute the remainder of Nyrond's naval forces until proper ships and their crews can deploy.
King Considers Amnesty
King Lynwerd and his advisors are considering a program of amnesty for subjects below
the rank of baron. Those bureaucrats, soldiers, militia members and citizens that supported the psuedo government of Lord Sewarndt may receive summary amnesty to release their lands and labor in an effort to return such to active production. The issue is still under discussion in Rel Mord
The debated summary amnesty does not provide protection to senior nobles, military officers, knights of the realm, or other high profile personalities of the former coup de etat. These individuals may have to petition the crown to be considered for any kind of relief or repatriation. More than mere oaths to the throne may be required for serious offenders. If time and resources permit, case-by-case consideration might be allowed. So, those not responsible for acts of atrocity during the troubles may be granted eventual amnesty provided they willingly come forth. Cases of more severe crimes of sedition or betrayal may have to endure more ardous acts of contrition.
Those that overtly and aggrssively supported Lord Sewarndt may face the charge of treason which carries the punishment of death or banishment. Marshals and Magistrates of the Royal Courts shall recieve detailed instructions on handling these cases if the case is unable to come before the King himself for judgment.

Rumors from the Anodan Hills
Travelers have been picking up on rumors of trouble in the Anodan Hills. It has been whispered that Entrell Estates is in urgent need of assistance from individuals familiar with the roads and established locations in Nyrond. Adventurers and other skilled persons may be well served to wander into the area to investigate.
Most Imperial Coinage Collected
The financial commission empaneled by King Lynwerd has announced that is has collected most of the imperial coinage, certificates, marques and other monetary instruments released by Lord Sewarndt. While a small amount of such may be hidden in private caches, the committee is confident most of the offensive instruments have been recovered. Imperial coins collected shall be melted down and reminted to the kingdoms traditional prints. A small collection shall be given to the University of Rel Mord for historical purposes. Other such samples shall be leased to other similar institutions for display upon request.
The traditional coinage of the kingdom returns to official circulation and all financial instruments of the kingdom shall be recognized as legal tender. The stabilization of the Nyrond economy has had a calming effect on the value of coins from other realms. Duties and charges for accepting foreign currency within Nyrond are left largely to local authorites to decide. However, royal financiers shall be watching for usury, which shall not be allowed. The maximum duty allowed shall be twenty percent. But, the economy will be allowed to determine rates as local consitions apply.
Weights and content of newly minted Nyrondese coins shall comply with standards as used in the rest of the Flanaess. However, special mintings shall be allowed to exceed or deter from the normal standards to commemorate people, places and events of the last twenty-four months.

Nyrond Heals and Rebuilds Herself
After the oppression of the black prince, the people of Nyrond have shown again their resilience to tribulations. Reports indicate that the citizenry in the cities and countryside of Nyrond have already begun to rebuild where the so called Empire did so much to tear down the what had been built since the end of the Greyhawk wars.
In a public statement, Queen Xenia proclaimed the pride that she and King Lynwerd feel for how the populace has stepped forward to wipe away the memory of a dark day in the history of the Kingdom. The Queen also praised the bravery of the Aristocracy, soldiery, and licensed adventures of the Kingdom who proved their loyalty to the Realm and were instrumental in driving out the pretender and restoring the rightful government of the
land.
Alderman Expresses Loyalty to King
Alderman Karzos of Narsel Mendred spoke to the people of his city during a fireside this month expressing his loyalty to King Lynwerd and decrying the alleged Almor Freedom Movement. Prompted by whispers of the latter, Karzos reminded the subjects present in his southern County of Womthan city that the proponents of the Almor Freedom Movement were no where to be found during the crisis of government with Prince Sewarndt.
"Where were they," Karzos asked, "when Sewarndt's troops thundered down on Caslte Flessern accross the river?" Many people that lived across the river around Castle Flessern still abide in Narsel Mendred. It was to these people that Karzos was speaking, but his message was heard by all. "Was it not the rightful king of Nyrond, Lynwerd, that threw back the usurper? And before that was it not the same who cast a shield of defense on our eastern borders against the threats of a shattered Aerdy?"
"Some may whisper of an indpendent Almor," Karzos continued. "But as for me, I'd not trade a king known for his benevolence for an uncertain future. My Almorian brothers can indeed be free under the power of King Lynwerd. Do not let the promises of foreigners and money grubbers take from you that which was easily stripped away during the Greyhawk Wars."
